To The Underdog In All of Us

To The Underdog In All of Us

To those who have struggled more times than you count,

Have you ever had one of those days that nothing goes right no matter what you do? You know the ones I’m talking about, where you sleep through five alarms, spill your breakfast in your lap and on top of that you need to gas up your vehicle or you won’t make it to your destination, which is worse than the fact that you’re already running late. Or what about those moments where it seems like all the tragic events in your life are happening all at once? Those are the times that you are the underdog and these are the most important times to believe in that underdog.

We’re all bound to have a few rough patches, we’re all going to get knocked down and we’re probably all going to want to give up from time to time. Some days it may seem easier to just throw in the towel, but in reality, it is much easier to let your heart lead you into overcoming your worst times.

This world is going to push you around more times than not and you will be faced with having to remember that you should never lose the sparkle that shines within you. There will be times that you have to be humble when you win and keep your head up when you lose. Trust me there is a good chance you will lose more often than you will win.

If you fall down, just stand up and try again. You are given many blessings in your life to keep on moving forward.

First and foremost, always have faith in the man upstairs. Always believe that God has a plan for each and every one of us; we may not always understand his plan, but we must know that his map for our lives is the correct one. He knows where we are going in life and we should always follow his lead.

Always remember that the people that surround you truly do care about you. Whether they are family or friends, never forget that people around you do have a love for you and always believe in you. Let these people around you help support you and be your shoulder to lean on when you have trouble standing up on your own.

When times get rough, you always have to remember the song that plays within your soul. You must always remember what your passion is and always follow that drive. There will be times you fear, you will fail, and you will fall but you always have to believe in the underdog.
