10 Ways to Stay Involved with FFA after Graduation
They say all good things must come to an end. Whether it's your favorite TV series, a day at the amusement park, or a vacation at the beach, that saying is true. Though when it comes to FFA, you can continue to be involved long after graduation.
Here are some tips and other opportunities on how to stay involved and show your support to the organization that positively impacted your life.
- Join local, state, and national alumni associations to open a world of opportunities for continued involvement.
If your local chapter doesn’t have an alumni chapter, start one!
Volunteer at the National FFA Convention and Expo.
Volunteer at your home-state FFA Convention.
Inquire with your state association about presenting an alumni workshop at an FFA event.
Create a service project local chapters and the state association can utilize.
Attend regional development conferences to network and socialize with fellow alumni members.
Apply for the National FFA Alumni Council, the executive body that offers support and promotes FFA.
Chaperone trips and other events for your local chapter.
Apply to join the backstage and graphics crew at the National FFA Convention & Expo.
Share your knowledge by coaching a CDE or LDE team.
